1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

JDA Customs Ltd outlines their terms of service. These are terms and conditions of any service provided by JDA Customs Ltd. The customer agrees that upon making a deposit payment to JDA Customs Ltd to secure a booking, or where in circumstances otherwise agreed and no deposit payment has been made, upon booking confirmation, the customer accepts the outlined Terms and Conditions of service.

 2. Bookings / Quotations 

The customer must provide accurate and relevant information when enquiring. JDA Customs Ltd will provide a written estimate for the total fee of works based on the information provided by the customer. Quotations are valid for 30 days. JDA Customs Ltd will offer dates of availability to the customer, where the customer agrees to a booking slot, the customer must pay the required deposit payment to secure the booking allocation prior to confirmation of the booking. The dates of availability offered to the customer will remain open to third parties until a deposit payment has been taken to secure a booking, therefore JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to accept alternative bookings during this time. On receipt of the required deposit payment, JDA Customs Ltd will provide a booking confirmation to the customer. The customer must make JDA Customs Ltd aware of any known previous repairs to the vehicle and understands that if previous repairs or damage has occurred to the vehicle, JDA Customs Ltd will not be liable for any failures in the damaged or previously repaired areas on the vehicle(s) or goods.

3. Payments / Deposits 

It is policy of JDA Customs Ltd that all customers must pay a deposit to secure a booking. A standard deposit payment of 25% of the total works to be carried out must be paid. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. A booking will not be allocated to the customer until the deposit payment has been made. JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to request higher deposits where necessary or waiver the deposit payment if deemed suitable. The customer will be made aware of required deposit payment to be made prior to booking. The customers agrees when securing a booking to pay the total fee due to JDA Customs Ltd upon completion of the works.

Full and final payment of outstanding balance, less the deposit payment made, is due on collection of the vehicle(s) or goods. The customer agrees and understands that JDA Customs Ltd reserve the right and will not release any vehicle(s) or goods prior to the receipt of payment made by the customer to JDA Customs Ltd. Failure of the customer to pay the full outstanding balance will result in vehicle(s) or goods not being released, removal or refusal to supply the service to the customer which will result in additional charges to the customer. In the event of late payment, or failure to pay, additional charges will be acquired by the customer and JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to take legal action to pursue the outstanding monies owed by the customer.

4. Cancellation Policy 

The customer reserves the right to cancel their booking at any given time. In the event that the customer cancels a booking, the customer understands that deposit payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable to another service. The customer understands that if they cancel a booking and wish to re-schedule, JDA Customs Ltd will offer the next available date at their convenience and cannot re-arrange third party bookings to suit the customer. If the customer cancels a booking within 24 hours of their original booking and wishes to reschedule, 50% of their original deposit payment can be transferred to their new booking however the customer accepts that 50% of their original deposit will be lost and is non-transferable. If the customer cancels their booking and does not reschedule within 3 months of the original booking, the customer agrees that the original quotation may not be valid and will be re-evaluated by JDA Customs Ltd at the time of re-booking.

5. Additional Charges 

  • 5.1 Collection & Delivery 

JDA Customs Ltd offers collection and delivery of vehicle(s) at an additional cost to the service. If the customer requires JDA Customs Ltd to collect or deliver a vehicle, they must make JDA Customs Ltd aware when making a booking or within 10 working days prior to the booking. Delivery and collection services will only be offered to customers on dates that work alongside the schedule of JDA Customs Ltd and the customer acknowledges that collection or delivery may not be available on any given date that may be most convenient for themselves. Collection and delivery charges must be paid upfront and must be paid by the customer when requested to do so by JDA Customs Ltd. If collection or delivery has been scheduled and the customer fails to attend, the payment made is not refundable. The customer must provide accurate and clear information regarding location of collection and delivery. JDA Customs Ltd will follow instructions given and it is not the responsibility of JDA Customs Ltd to locate the vehicle. If JDA Customs Ltd is not able to collect or deliver the vehicle when arranged and the customer would like to re-schedule, the customer acknowledges and agrees that another payment will be required.

  • 5.2 Amendments 

JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to charge additional fees if the customer requests amendments to works required to be carried out. The charges will be determined on how extensive the amendments are. If the customer makes amendments at least 5 working days prior to their booking, JDA Customs Ltd will assess how extensive the changes are and will make the customer aware of any additional costs or not. The customer reserves the right to accept the amendments and the additional costs or can reject and continue with the original works. If the customer requests amendments less than 5 working days prior to their booking, JDA Customs Ltd will assess the changes and will advise the customer. JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to refuse the changes if they are not deemed reasonable or cannot be carried out in the allocated time frame and will offer the customer to return at a convenient date for the extra requested works.

  • 5.3 Late drop-off and pick-up

It is the responsibility of the customer to drop off and collect their vehicle(s) on the arranged date and time as agreed with JDA Customs Ltd when making a booking. JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to charge the customer if the customer does not deliver or collect their vehicle(s) on time.

If the customer fails to deliver their vehicle(s) or goods on time of the date of their booking, the customer accepts that the works to be carried out may be delayed and may not be completed in the

allocated time. The customer accepts that in certain circumstances, they may have to pay a fee if they cause delays to JDA Customs Ltd.

If the customer fails to collect their vehicle(s) or goods when requested to do so, JDA Customs Ltd reserves the right to charge storage fees for vehicle(s) or goods left on site. This is a standard fee of £25.00 + VAT per day beyond the confirmed collection date unless otherwise agreed. This fee increases to £30.00 + VAT per day after 4 weeks. These standard fees are charged to cover insurance and storage space.

6. Delays 

JDA Customs Ltd aims to complete works within the allocated time frame upon booking. JDA Customs Ltd will complete works as quickly and efficiently as possible whilst maintaining our high-quality standards. In the unlikely event of any delays to completion date, JDA Customs Ltd will not be liable for any loss or costs incurred from delays.

7. Warranty 

JDA Customs Ltd offers a 12 month workmanship warranty on the application of standard vehicle wraps. Manufacturer’s warranty is also applicable ranging from 2-5 years depending on the material chosen for the work. Our warranty is only valid for wraps that have been installed by staff members of JDA Customs Ltd and that were installed at our premises. If JDA Customs Ltd supplies only vinyl to a customer as a purchase, JDA Customs Ltd does not warrant the vinyl thereafter the purchase and does not warrant vinyl applied by any third party. JDA Customs Ltd does not apply vinyl supplied by the customer, all vinyl must be supplied through JDA Customs Ltd.

JDA Customs Ltd does not warrant repairs/replacement vinyl due to customer error such as damage, tearing/pulling the vinyl etc. The customer accepts that if any repairs or panels are to be replaced, the vinyl could have slight differences in colour due to new vinyl, supplier production etc and JDA Customs Ltd is not liable for this.

Vehicle(s) or goods that are known to have received previous repair or are suspected to have had previous repair will not be guaranteed or warranted. Please see below clause 8.

8. Vehicle Condition  

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate and in detail information regarding the condition of the vehicle including the paintwork, damaged panels/areas, any known history of the vehicle, any problematic areas such as rust, flaking paint, dents etc. JDA Customs Ltd will advise the customer of any unsuitable areas or potential issues where necessary. Any unsuitable areas that cannot be wrapped must be taken care of prior to wrapping and is the responsibility of the customer. The customer accepts all responsibility of any third-party works carried out prior to wrap and agrees that JDA Customs Ltd is not liable for any issues following repair. If repairs are carried out prior to wrap, the paintwork must be left to cure in line with the manufactures guidelines before any wrap can be applied. JDA Customs Ltd will not guarantee workmanship or material installation in areas with previous repair, poor paintwork, or potential issues. The customer accepts that they will sign a waiver document prior to work commencing, accepting the terms and conditions stated. Failure to do so will result in refusal of works commencing and the customer will be charged in full. JDA Customs Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage or replacement of vehicle parts required to be removed to allow for installation. Various clips and trims are not designed to be removed and replaced. Generic clips where necessary can be replaced by JDA Customs Ltd if deemed reasonable.

9. Aftercare 

JDA Customs Ltd will provide the customer with all the relevant aftercare instructions following completion however it is the sole responsibility of the customer to follow the aftercare procedure to maintain the high-quality work and appearance.

  • -Hand wash the vehicle only, do not use automatic car washes. We recommend washing the vehicle yourself, avoid third-party hand car washes.
  • -Avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning the vehicle to prevent any reactions/blemishes to occur with the material and some cleaning chemicals can also affect the vinyl’s adhesion.
  • -A pressure washer can be used on a wrapped vehicle however you must hold the lance at a minimum of 1 and a half to 2 metres away from the vehicle to avoid lifting/damage to the wrap. Especially in hot or cold temperatures.
  • -Try to avoid washing the car in extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
  • -Ensure you clean spills such as petrol/diesel, bird muck or any other potentially harmful substances from your vehicle as quickly as possible.
  • -Ensure you clean the vehicle from top to bottom to allowing dirt and water to run down and to avoid pooling. Dry the vehicle immediately with a drying towel.

 10. Insurance 

 Vehicles/goods are left at JDA Customs Ltd at the owner’s risk. All vehicles/goods are kept within our secure compound. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure their vehicle(s)/goods are insured whilst on our premises. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure no personal belongings are left in within the vehicle when delivered to our premises. JDA Customs Ltd will not be held responsible for loss or damage to the customer’s vehicle(s)/goods.
